Categories of spodumene beneficiation processes
Every single thing has its own intrinsic value. In our daily lives, there are many items and products that we simply can't do without. Similarly, in the industrial sector, numerous pieces of machinery play crucial roles across various fields. Lepidolite beneficiation is no exception, Now Let’s just talk about it. Categories of spodumene beneficiation processes If you’re interested, let’s keep reading together.

The sorting order of minerals in spodumene beneficiation is influenced by factors such as the floatability of minerals in the ore and the symbiotic relationships among minerals. Common flotation processes include preferential flotation, mixed flotation, and partial mixed preferential flotation.
Lepidolite beneficiation The process is known as preferential flotation, in which only one mineral is floated at a time, while the other minerals are depressed. Subsequently, the second mineral is activated for flotation. The process of depressing the remaining minerals and recovering the valuable minerals one by one is referred to as preferential flotation. In the spodumene beneficiation process—specifically, the bulk flotation process—the several valuable minerals present in the ore are floated together to produce a mixed concentrate. This mixed concentrate is then separated into various qualified concentrates, particularly when the minerals are closely intergrown. During spodumene beneficiation, the particle size tends to be relatively coarse, and the floatability of different valuable minerals is fairly similar. Consequently, the tailings can be discarded after coarse grinding. A bulk flotation approach followed by separation of the mixed concentrate can be considered. Another spodumene beneficiation process is the partial bulk preferential flotation process: in this method, several valuable minerals in the ore are floated first, while the remaining minerals are depressed. Then, the depressed minerals are reactivated for flotation, and the resulting mixed concentrate is separated to yield individual concentrates. The spodumene beneficiation process that produces such partial mixed concentrates is called the partial bulk preferential flotation process. This process is suitable when several valuable minerals in the ore exhibit similar floatability, yet some differ slightly in their floatability characteristics.
Lepidolite beneficiation Flotation Process—The equal-floatability process can be employed when minerals exhibit differing floatabilities. In this process, separation is not based on individual mineral species but rather on their floatability characteristics. This approach can avoid the difficulties associated with strong inhibition and some of the challenges in separation; however, it involves multiple separation stages and a complex procedure, as illustrated below. First, galena and some easily floatable sphalerite are selectively floated, followed by the flotation of harder-to-float sphalerite and some easily floatable pyrite, each undergoing separate flotation operations and separations in flotation cells.
